SAGE (Salvia officinalis)
Effects: Used for flushing throat, during infections and as an antiperspirant. It is used as an antimicrobial agent, astringent and antispasmodic secretolytic. It is also used with a decreased appetite and disturbed formation and secretion of bile.
Preparation: 2 tablespoons of tea to put in 2 dl of boiling water, let it sit for 10-15min, strain and drink, or, if necessary, gargle
